We are proud to announce the start of our seventh consecutive contract for maintaining and developing the “Youth Employment Services” system for the Voluntary Labor Corps (OHP).
What Is the “Youth Employment Services” System?
The “Youth Employment Services” (MPP) system is a web-based application built with PHP, Symfony, and PostgreSQL technologies. Launched in 2007, it was specifically designed to fulfill the following objectives:
- Facilitating employment services for students, unemployed youth, and job seekers within OHP units,
- Enhancing the efficiency of staff responsible for employment services in OHP,
- Supporting service delivery for students, job seekers, and unemployed youth in line with OHP employment service standards.
The system also allows external users (job seekers) to browse job offers without requiring login credentials. These offers are published by employment agents on the www.mbp.ohp.pl website.
Access to the MPP system is granted to employees with permissions aligned with their roles and responsibilities.
Currently, the MPP system supports tasks related to career development – employment services, career counseling, and vocational training—performed by OHP under the Act on the Promotion of Employment and Labor Market Institutions (Journal of Laws, 2015, item 149). Since 2022, the system has been used by over 600 employees, including those from Youth Education and Employment Centers, Provincial OHP Commands, and the OHP Headquarters.
The system contains data such as the contact information of OHP units providing career development services, details of job seekers and employers, and records of job referrals and employment activities.
Our services
We provide technical support that includes:
- Configuring the software and hardware that hosts the MPP system (Apache Server, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL),
- Addressing issues arising from day-to-day application usage,
- Developing, testing, and implementing system updates required due to new legal regulations.
Additionally, we perform system modifications upon request from OHP.
As part of the current agreement, one of our key tasks will be a major system modification involving integration with the Central Job Offer Database (CBOP). This integration will ensure seamless functionality by enabling efficient transmission of job offers from the MPP system to the CBOP.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with OHP, providing innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs!
