OUR TEAM

We have been operating since 2003.

Vavatech focuses on developing advanced web-based systems and providing specialized IT training. For over 20 years (since 2003), we have been present in the IT market. From the beginning, we have concentrated on Java EE and related technologies – thanks to this focus, we now have a team with very high expertise and experience in this field.

We build IT systems based on standards developed through project execution and in accordance with best design practices. We use the iterative Agile Development model for building IT systems. The architecture of the applications we design is based on the MVC pattern.

Our main specialty has been web applications from the very beginning. Most of our services are customized. Among the ready-made solutions (products) we offer are:

  • clear and user-friendly websites based on global standards,
  • content management systems (CMS) for small and medium-sized businesses,

The best team is the foundation
of our clients' success

Mirosław Makaroś

CEO
“While managing the company, I strive to leverage IT knowledge and experience.”
I graduated in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw, and perhaps that’s why I feel more like an IT specialist than a manager. This perspective influences my approach to IT projects, which I usually view more as technical and substantive issues rather than purely business ones. I greatly enjoy working with people who are smarter than I am and from whom I can learn. The most challenging but also the most rewarding project I am currently working on is raising my children: Mateusz and Iga 🙂

Klaudia Wekier

Project Manager
“What can I do for you?”
I have a Master’s degree in Data Analysis from the Warsaw School of Economics. At Vavatech, I primarily focus on project management, developing company strategies, and client relations. In my free time, I go to the gym, practice pilates, and go on cycling trips.

Michalina Sekita

Office Assistant
“Always up-to-date, always organized.”
At Vavatech, I work as an Office Assistant, where I ensure the smooth running of daily operations and support the organization of IT training sessions on a variety of topics. My responsibilities include event coordination, participant communication, and ensuring everything proceeds according to plan. After work, I go to the gym, read books, and when the weather permits, I go on exciting motorcycle rides.

Jakub Pochrybniak

Developer
“Where shall we go for lunch today?”
I hold a master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw. I worked there as a programmer for ten years before moving to Vavatech. I like bad movies and abandoned places. I also play the piano and guitar, and enjoy badminton and billiards. Fortunately, I also have a passion for programming – otherwise, I probably wouldn’t be here. 😉

Nikodem Kudelski

DEVELOPER
“As an engineer by education and genetic predisposition, I use modern IT technologies for diagnosis and preparing solutions.”
I am a graduate of Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw. I became interested in computer science in high school, and unlike many of my other interests, programming turned out to be a perfect fit and gradually developed into a passion, with a fascination for the vast challenges and opportunities it offers. Besides programming, my hobbies include activities such as model building, drawing and painting.

Mateusz Rubka-Knihinicki

DEVELOPER
“I work hard to give my dog a fulfilling life.”
I am a graduate of Computer Science from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw. I’ve been interested in computers since childhood, but it was my passion for mathematics and strong academic performance that led me to explore programming. At Vavatech, I appreciate the friendly atmosphere, as well as the flexible working hours, which allow me to leave work early for a walk with my dog. 🙂 I enjoy good food, sleeping, playing computer and board games, reading crime novels, going for walks, and cycling 🙂

Mateusz Pychewicz

“After the commits, you’ll recognize me.”
I am a graduate in Electronics from the Warsaw University of Technology. Among all the skills I acquired during my studies, programming was the most enjoyable for me, which is why I became a developer. In my free time, I enjoy running and traveling. Running allows me to challenge myself and overcome my own limitations, while traveling helps me view the world and myself from a different perspective.

Kacper Kuta

“There’s no problem that can’t be solved – sometimes all it takes is a reset.”
I hold a degree in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology. I highly value a positive atmosphere at Vavatech that fosters collaboration and efficiency. Outside of work hours, I prioritize maintaining a balance between body and mind by engaging in various physical activities that help me avoid burnout. I also enjoy the challenges posed by chess and CS2 – especially the latter, which has taught me effective teamwork, a skill I apply in my daily professional responsibilities.

Mieszko Braun

Developer
“I continuously update my knowledge in the field of frontend development.”
I spent a long time searching for what I wanted to do in life, and since I’ve always been drawn to computers, I decided to give programming a try. I am constantly developing and wish to expand my skills into new areas. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, playing video games, and taking and editing photos.

Wiktor Nobis

Developer
“From the field to programming – always on the front line.”
From a young age, sports shaped my approach to life and work, teaching me perseverance, strategy, and competition. This competitive drive has seamlessly transitioned into my programming “challenges” where I strive to lead not only in technical skills but also in aligning interfaces with the core of applications. I always aim to stay ahead, ensuring the best possible user experience. While my primary focus is on frontend development, I’m not afraid to dive into backend topics to gain a comprehensive understanding of projects and optimize our solutions.

Karol Wąsowski

Marcin Sulecki

Trainer and senior developer
“About complex things in a simple way.”
With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, I currently work as a freelancer, providing solutions for clients both in Poland and abroad. I share my practical knowledge through training sessions and emphasize building solid foundations. I specialize in the .NET platform, particularly in desktop, mobile applications, and web services. I am also an expert in Crystal Reports. I run a blog at [http://sulmar.blogspot.com/](http://sulmar.blogspot.com/).

Patryk Czarnik

Trainer and senior developer
“Diverse experiences – that’s my defining characteristic.”
I have worked on both commercial projects as a Java, C++, and PHP developer, database designer, and analyst, as well as in academia (Faculty of MIM at the University of Warsaw, from which I am a graduate), where I taught XML, C, Haskell, concurrency, and security, and presented papers at international conferences. I am interested in methods for ensuring correctness, including formal methods, and I am a fan of functional programming and open standards platforms. I specialize primarily in the Java platform and data processing technologies. Diverse experiences are my defining characteristic, which I have been leveraging since 2008 as a trainer, focusing mainly on Java SE (including exam preparation), Java EE components, and XML technologies.

Szymon Zioło

Trainer and business analyst
“For modeling, I use UML, BPMN, XML Schema, and Archimate, but the best tool for modeling is the human mind.”
I have been working on IT projects for over 15 years and have been conducting training for several of those years. I have served as a project manager, architect, and consultant, but I excel most in the role of analyst, working at the intersection of business and IT. I use UML, BPMN, XML Schema, and Archimate for modeling, but I consider the human mind to be the best tool for modeling. I particularly enjoy modeling business domains. It is a challenging task, but it is gratifying when a well-crafted domain model becomes the core of the system. Modeling the domain is also the focus of one of my favorite training sessions. I love watching participants’ jaws drop when they see how much can be derived from simple class diagrams.
