Starting today, we are pleased to continue our collaboration with the Main Command of the Voluntary Labour Corps (KG OHP) for the fifth consecutive year, providing support for the Youth Employment Mediation System.
What is MPP
The “Youth Employment Mediation System” (“MPP”) is a web application built using PHP, Symfony, and PostgreSQL technologies. The portal was established in 2007 as a dedicated system for implementing the task of:
- Employment mediation for young people who are studying, unemployed, and job-seeking, carried out within OHP units.
- Improving the efficiency of individuals performing employment mediation tasks within OHP.
- Supporting the service of young people who are studying, job-seeking, and unemployed, in accordance with the accepted employment mediation standards in OHP.
The application also allows “external users,” such as job seekers, to browse current job offers posted by employment intermediaries on the website www.mbp.ohp.pl without needing to log in.
Access to the MPP System is granted to employees with permissions assigned according to their position and assigned tasks.
Currently, the MPP System supports professional development tasks (employment mediation, career counseling, and vocational training) carried out by the Voluntary Labour Corps (OHP) under the Act on the Promotion of Employment and Labour Market Institutions (Journal of Laws 2015, item 149). Since 2022, over 600 users—including employees from OHP Youth Education and Employment Centers, Regional OHP Commands, and the Main Command of OHP—are authorized to use the system.
The system includes contact information for OHP units providing professional development services, data on job seekers, employers, information on job referrals, and employment outcomes for job seekers.
Our services
The contract consists of two services:
Technical Support, which includes:
- Configuring software and hardware on which the Youth Employment Mediation System is running (Apache Server, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL),
- Responding to issues arising from the ongoing use of the application,
- Developing, testing, and implementing any changes to the application in response to new legal regulations,
and modifying MPP as well as adding new functions.
Under the current contract, we will handle, among other tasks, a significant modification involving integration with the Central Job Offers Database (CBOP). This will enable the seamless operation of the system in conjunction with CBOP, allowing for efficient transfer of job offers from the System to CBOP.
