We are pleased to announce the launch of a new, comprehensive project for the Institute of Sport – National Research Institute (IS-PIB). Our task is to provide specialized programming services for the IS-PIB Projects Team. The contract covers two main areas: creating new software and ongoing technical support and development of existing systems.
Creation of the Dedicated Reporting System SPT_RAPORTY
The first pillar of our cooperation is the creation of a custom-made system – the new SPT_RAPORTY module, which will be a logically and structurally distinct part of the “Sportowe Talenty” (Sports Talents) IT system. Its task will be to provide two key types of reports:
- Individual Child Achievement Reports (IROD): These will be personalized reports in PDF format (in two variants to choose from), made available after logging in to authorized users of the “Sportowe Talenty” system, such as teachers or school principals.
- Physical Condition Research Reports (RBSPT): These will be anonymized and aggregated reports for schools and Local Government Units (voivodeships, powiats, gminas). These reports will be publicly available on the website as PDF files and as an interactive report interface (interactive data presentation).
Maintenance and Development of the “Sportowe Talenty” IT System
The second pillar of the agreement is the provision of programming and administrative services for the existing “Sportowe Talenty” web application.
Our tasks in this area include, among others:
- Ongoing administrative and programming work (frontend and backend) on the “Sportowe Talenty” website.
- Administration of entrusted systems and servers comprising the infrastructure.
- Bug fixing.
- Monitoring backups, periodically testing their correctness, and restoring data if necessary.
- Maintenance and further development of the system, including developing and implementing new solutions and providing opinions on requests for modifications.
Key Project Requirements (WCAG and Security)
The entire system being created must meet rigorous formal requirements. The interactive report interface (RBSPT) must be fully compliant with the WCAG 2.1 standard at level AA, which we will confirm with accessibility test reports.
Furthermore, the project requires data processing in compliance with GDPR (based on a data processing agreement) and the implementation of detailed logical and technical security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality (covering, among others, encryption, authentication, and event logging).
Technologies Used in the Project (Programming in Java)
Both tasks require full compatibility with the Client’s existing IT infrastructure. The technology stack is based on:
- Operating System: GNU/Linux (including CentOS / RHEL 9)
- Database: PostgreSQL 14
- Application Server: Programming in Oracle Java 17 and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
- Web Server: nginx
