Continuing the Development of the Odznaka+ Web and Mobile App

We are pleased to once again collaborate with the Educational Research Institute (IBE) on the development of the Odznaka+ system.

At the beginning of 2021, we began working with IBE on this dedicated system, as you can read about here.

What is the Odznaka+ IT System?

The Odznaka+ system is a web application that facilitates the issuance, incremental collection, storage, and sharing of digital badges in the Open Badges standard, as well as digitally secured certificates in PDF format. The system is accessible to all users via the website, and for individual users, it is also available as a mobile app.

The main functionalities of the System include:

Creating types of credentials (badge classes) that identify the achievement and certification criteria,
Verifying the authenticity of issued digital badges and certificates,
Visualizing skill development pathways,
Collecting achievements in a virtual portfolio and sharing selected information,
Creating unique portfolios of achievements using Open Badges,
Integrating with social media to facilitate sharing of achievements,
Creating virtual business cards for issuers.

System Modernization and Creating New Functionalities

The current contract includes the modernization of the Odznaka+ system. This creating of new functionalities includes:

Enabling administrators to manage languages available in the system (translations, email templates, etc.),
Allowing issuers to create badge classes and assertions in a multilingual mode (Open Badges 2.0),
Enabling users to change the language of the website display,
Modifying the badge class graphic editor,
Updating and expanding the portfolio and portfolio template editors,
Enhancing the development path creator,
Expanding content management (CMS) capabilities,
Enabling configuration of a “blog” type page,
Implementing login and registration via “Trusted Profile” (Profil Zaufany),
Allowing for the issuance of automatic digital badges,
Registration via a dedicated form.

The completion of the work is planned for the end of 2022.
