We are pleased to announce that our company has signed another contract to implement a project for the development and support of the HOMAS system – a comprehensive IT solution utilized by the Polish Jockey Club. The project encompasses both maintenance services for the software and its further development to meet the dynamic needs of the Club and its users. We have been collaborating with the Polish Jockey Club for over six years, with another year and a half ahead of us.
About the project
In 2019, our company developed the HOMAS system—an advanced software solution integrating modules such as the Electronic Studbook of Thoroughbred and Purebred Arabian Horses, a passport module, and functionalities for submitting applications and processing payments. Its primary purpose is to support data management and key processes critical to the operations of the Polish Jockey Club, including maintaining databases of racehorses and ensuring the compliance of generated documents.
Scope of work
Our collaboration includes:
- Comprehensive maintenance services, including diagnosing and resolving issues, technical support, and updating system modules.
- System development, including implementing new functionalities, modernizing the infrastructure, and delivering updated software versions tailored to users’ current needs.
- Ensuring SLA compliance, guaranteeing prompt responses to reported issues and minimizing potential downtime.
Our team
We have assembled a team of highly skilled professionals for this project, including programmers, system analysts, and database experts. Each team member brings extensive experience in developing and maintaining solutions based on Java, the Spring framework, and SQL relational databases. Their shared goal is to ensure the stability, security, and flexibility of the HOMAS system.
Technologies
The project utilizes modern tools and technologies, such as:
- Java and Spring Framework – ensuring scalability and application efficiency.
- Relational SQL databases – enabling effective management of large datasets.
- Advanced integration mechanisms – providing seamless interoperability between HOMAS and external systems.
The full technology stack includes Java, JavaEE, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, PrimeFaces, and Vue.
Benefits for users
Our efforts will make the HOMAS system more reliable and fully aligned with the Club’s requirements and those of its stakeholders. The result will be improved data management efficiency and streamlined operational processes, such as application submissions and document generation.
