We have been collaborating with Stowarzyszenie 61 for over 4 years.
The beginnings of our collaboration primarily involved creating two portals:
- Jawny Lobbing: A service where any citizen can check who, besides politicians, influences Polish law.
- Mam Prawo Wiedzieć: A service providing information about individuals holding elected public positions.
In recent months, we have completed two additional projects.
SOS Wspólna Szkoła
At the initiative of the SOS for Education network, the Wspólna Szkoła project was launched in March 2022 to support Ukrainian children and young refugees. Wspólna Szkoła aims to facilitate actions and information flow by creating a network of institutions involved in the education and psychosocial support of Ukrainian and Polish children.
Our company created the website soswspolnaszkola.pl, where:
- Information about programs run by NGOs for Ukrainian children in Poland is collected,
- Organizations learn how to effectively assist local governments, communities, schools, and young people from Ukraine,
- Schools are informed about how to effectively work with students from Ukraine.
Additionally, the site offers practical news, such as how to navigate life in Poland as a Ukrainian refugee, information on legal aid, and tips for learning the language.
Obywatelski Hit
The Obywatelski HiT initiative was created in response to the introduction of a new subject — History and Present (HiT) — replacing the existing Knowledge about Society (basic level) in high schools, technical schools, and vocational schools.
We developed the website obywatelskihit.pl, which, as described in the “About Us” section:
“Features an extensive database of educational materials. This includes over 600 items: videos, lesson plans, exercise proposals, source texts, glossary entries, and more. Among these, you will find new materials specifically created for teaching HiT by our team and partner initiatives (e.g., Uczę HiT z CEO, Cyfrowy HiT, Historia BEZ KITU, Otwarta szkoła, Jak zrobić z HiTu hit – more information about partners below) as well as selected existing educational resources for contemporary history and civic education (e.g., materials from e-podręczniki and archives of Polish Radio).”
The website was created out of a need for reliable education on contemporary history and critical reflection on the attitudes required by the modern world to be an informed and engaged citizen.
