Maintenance and Development of the EKZ IT System for the General Inspectorate of Road Transport

In August, we’re excited to announce the commencement of a new collaboration. This time, it will involve the maintenance and development of the Electronic Permit Control (EKZ) IT system.

What is the EKZ Dedicated System?

The Electronic Permit Control (EKZ) system is a web-based application designed to provide real-time access to information regarding the monitoring of permits issued by the minister responsible for transport. As a dedicated system for public administration, it supports the process of monitoring foreign carriers and provides access to a knowledge base on international road transport.

Key Functionalities

Current information on the status of the controlled permit,
Up-to-date information on the utilization level of the permit quota,
Capability to generate reports on conducted permit inspections,
Current information on expiration dates and quota amounts,
Current information on conducted inspections (location, date, etc.).

System Scale and Data Volume

As of December 31, 2021, the system manages:

Annual Processed Permits: Approximately 500,000
Total Records Stored: Approximately 10,000,000

Our Maintenance and Development Services

Under the agreement (running until the end of 2022), we provide advisory and consulting services regarding the operation of the application and the entire EKZ environment. From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we handle service requests and address errors and issues to ensure the continuous operation of the EKZ system. At the request of GITD, we may also receive tasks related to creating new functionalities (development) for the system.
